Meet the girls

Agnes Muthoni – Born on 13th November 1994, joined us at the age of 10 years on 24th April 2004. She has two sisters. Her hobbies are dancing, swimming and watching movies. Her favorite subjects are English and Kiswahili. Her dream is to become a judge and ensure children too have rights that are protected.

Winnie Vihenda – Born on 4th July 1997, joined us at the age of 7 years in June 2004. She has two sisters. Her hobbies are dancing and singing. She excels in languages. She aspires to be a famous musician like Yvonne Chaka Chaka.

Joyce Wangui – Born on 27th June 1999, joined us at the age of 5 years in June 2004. Her hobbies are swimming and dancing. She excels in science and math. Her dream is to become a pilot…..and maybe also a model.

Wanjiru Margaret Gathoni – Born on 3rd February 1994, joined us at the age of 13 years in January 2007. Her favorite subject is math and in her free time enjoys swimming, drawing and dancing. She hopes to become an accountant.

Irene Mwihaki – Born on 21st July 1993, she joined us at the age of 11 years in June 2004. She enjoys studying biology, chemistry and CRE. She loves playing football and volleyball. She hopes to one day study engineering or piloting in the USA.

Charity Waruguru Wanjru – Born on 26th December 1991, she joined us in July 2004 at the age of 13 years. She has 2 sisters and 5 brothers. She excels in English, Kiswahili and biology. She enjoys socializing and listening to music. Her life mission is to help the needy and though she is very good at braiding hair, she aspires to be a cardiologist.

Margaret Njoki Njoroge – Born on 3rd August 1994, she joined us in August 2005 at the age of 11 years. She is a talented actress and enjoys reading, listening to music and watching TV. Her favorite subjects are biology, chemistry and English. She aspires to be an international actress.

Judy Wairimu – Born on 19th September 1996, she joined us on 9th April 2005 at the age of 9 years. Her talent is dancing though she also enjoys drawing. She has one brother and one sister and aspires to become a doctor.

Maureen Wanja – Born on 24th December 1995, she joined us on 26th December 2005 at the age of 10 years. Her greatest talent is singing and also enjoys listening to music, reading novels and watching movies. She has 2 brothers and hopes to become a pilot or a doctor.

Grace Watetu Wangechi – Born on 25th December 1996, joined us on 13th December 2004 at the age of 8 years. Her favorite subjects are math, science and English. She is a determined young girl and enjoys playing volleyball and socializing. Her dream is to become an air hostess or model.

Mary Njeri Muthoni – Born on 26th March 1994, joined us in September 2008 at the age of 14 years. She is a skilled footballer and also enjoys swimming and dancing. She has one brother and 2 sisters and aspires to become a doctor.

Mary Wanjiru – Born on 29th April 1994, joined us on 13th August 2004 at the age of 10 years. She enjoys joking, making friends and is a football fan. She has one sister and her favorite subjects are biology, physics and math. She thinks she would make a good politician but she would rather be a doctor.

Sarah Muthoni Wangechi – Born on 23rd December 1995, joined us on 13th December 2004. She is an avid reader and also enjoys playing football and running. Her favorite subjects are English and history. She hopes to one day become a lawyer.

Jackline Wambui – Born on 16th September 1994, joined us in 2004 at the age of 10 years. She has one sister and enjoys dancing, singing and making friends. She plans to achieve everything she wants in life including becoming a doctor.

Jane Mwihaki Muthoni – Born on 16th June 1993, joined us on 14th June 2004 at the age of 11 years. Her unique talent is modelling and she also enjoys swimming. She has one brother and 4 sisters and she hopes to become a doctor or a pilot.

Damaris Mahiga Wangechi – Born on 2nd October 1992, joined us in December of 2004 at the age of 12 years. She has 2 brothers and is a talented singer. She enjoys many subjects among them English and business studies. Her goal is to become a news anchor or work in public relations.

Ruth Wangu – Born on 11th September 1996, joined us on 8th August 2004 at the age of 8 years. Her talent is having fun and she enjoys swimming and dancing. She has one brother and her dream is to become a pilot.

Mary Wanjuhi Mararo – Born on 8th August 1991, joined us on 19th January 2005 at the age of 14 years. She is a talented dancer and an excellent swimmer as well. She enjoys traveling and watching movies. Her favorite subjects are history, English and biology. She has one brother and 5 sisters. Her goal is to study law at Harvard University in the USA.She is currently at the University of Nairobi.

Jessicah Wanjiru – Born on 23rd December 1997, joined us on 26th June 2008 at the age of 11 years. Her hobbies are dancing, swimming and smiling. Her best subject is science which is just as well given that she wants to be a doctor.

Elizabeth Wanjiku – Born on 1st November 1994, joined us in December 2005 at the age of 12 years. She enjoys knitting and dancing. She has 3 brothers and one sister. She would like to become a doctor.

Ann Wanjiru – Born on 23rd April 1992, joined us in March 2005 at the age of 13 years. She has two brothers and she likes taking walks and has a passion for music, especially rapping. In the future she would like to become a lawyer.

Teresiah Mugure – Born on 29th November 1996, joined us in December of 2005 at the age of 9 years. She has a very active extracurricular life and especially enjoys swimming. She has one brother and hopes to one day become a pilot.

Rachel Wanjiru – Born on 7th September 1993, her hobby is swimming. She has one brother and one sister. Her life ambition is to become a doctor.

Alice Nthenya – Born on 3rd June 2002, joined us in September 2007 at the age of 5 years. She has 2 sisters and enjoys watching movies and reading story books. She hopes to grow up to be a teacher.

Lilian Ndanu – Born on 6th October 1999, joined us in December of 2007 at the age of 7 years. She is a talented dancer and enjoys swimming and watching movies. She has 4 sisters and has yet to decide whether she wants to be an accountant, air hostess or a doctor.

Catherine Akinyi – Born on 15th November 1994, she has one sister and 3 brothers. Her dream is to study linguistics and become a journalist.

Jane Wachu – Born on 12th December 1995, joined us in 2008 at the age of 13 years. Her talent is knitting and she also enjoys playing volleyball. She has one sister and one brother. She would like to become an engineer.

Magdaline Wangari – Born on 6th September 2001, joined us in 2007. Her talents are singing and dancing. She has one brother and one sister and she aspires to become a doctor.

Salome Wanjiku Gathoni – Born on 27th December 1997, joined us in January 2009 at the age of 12 years. She is a football fan and her favourite subject is math. She has one sister and 3 brothers. Her career goal is to become a pilot.

Hannah Njoki – Born on 9th June 2001, joined us in 2005. She loves playing football and swimming. She has one brother and one sister. She hopes to grow up to become a musician.

Ann Magiri Ngugi – Born on 18th March 1993, joined us in June 2004 at the age of 11 years. She has 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Her talents include dancing and singing. She also likes making new friends. Her favourite subjects are English, history and agriculture. She hopes to one day become a manger.

Grace Njambi- Born on 9th April 2004, she is the youngest member to join the home in April 2011. She loves playing football and other outdoor activities. Her favourite subject is Kiswahili and mathematics. Her career dream when she grows up is to become a pilot.
